Classroom | Library Visits

I'd love to visit your school, either in person or online.  Here are a few options:

Kindergarten --> 25-minute picture book reading and Q&A session.
Grades 1 and 2 --> Picture book reading and letter-writing workshop (50 minutes).
Grades 3 and 4 --> Picture book reading, followed by a letter-writing workshop, focusing on voice and intent (50 minutes).
Grades 5 and 6 --> I'm happy to speak about writing and resilience (50 minutes).

Getting There

I live in Burlington, Ontario. I'm happy to visit schools in person within an hour's drive (with no travel fees). 
If your school is farther away, let me know if you'd like a visit. I'm often en route to Kingston and other places (maybe I can stop in). 
​Otherwise, I'm happy to meet online.  

Rates

$200 for one 50 minute session. Additional 50-minute sessions (same day, same location) are $100 each.
Two 25-minute Kindergarten sessions are $200, all together.
Virtual visits $125 for each 50 minute session; $65 for 25 minutes (one Kindergarten class).
